Actor Vidyut Jamwal has reacted to the shooting incident with Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.
Vidyut shared a video message on Instagram, directly addressing Tiger and urging his fans to take responsibility if they witness the incident of violence.
In the video, Vidyut said, “I want to say something to Tiger Shroff. You are the bravest person I know. You are braver than all of them.”
He then turned to Tiger fans, questioning their response to the incident. “But I want to tell your fans, every person who goes to see you play football, cheers for you and says, ‘I’m your biggest fan, biggest fan’ – all those fans, somebody should run, somebody should catch them (the accused). ‘I love you, I’m your biggest fan.’ What is it, boy?”
Vidyut also addressed the Mumbai Police, stressing the need to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
“I would like to tell the Mumbai police, yes, you will give him protection, but this should never happen again. If such a mistake happens, you are to blame,” he said.
Along with the video, Vidyut shared a caption highlighting the importance of standing up for others instead of standing by them when they face violence or harassment.
“We know a lot is happening in our country. Sometimes we can raise our voice, sometimes we can’t, but we do it in our own way. But when we see someone harassed or attacked on the road (woman: man), why do we stand and watch? Why can’t one of us step forward as human beings, not as witnesses? We need some audience for that and some other audience.
Tiger Shroff’s mother Ayesha Shroff has shared Vidyut’s video on her Instagram handle.
