Days after being trolled by Salman Khan on national television, Vivek Oberoi reacted to the superstar’s stand during a recent conversation.
Defending Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi said, “Trolling should not be done, trolling is a negative thing, positive work itne hain life mein ke karne liye, ki negative mein pade ho (You should not troll anyone. There are so many positive things to do in life. Why get involved in negative things?).”
Vivek Oberoi’s reaction comes after Salman Khan called out trolls for attacking Katrina Kaif over her post-birth weight gain and roasted the paparazzi for clicking ‘inappropriate’ shots of the female actors from behind.
“Why do you troll someone who gets pregnant? Everyone puts on weight because of pregnancy… Jab Woh Picter mein wapas aayegi ton Woh Ho Jaegi… She wants to spend time with her family,” Salman said on Bigg Boss 20 last week.
He didn’t stop there.
The actor also spoke about being targeted online for his age, with social media users commenting that he looked old.
Salman said, “Of course, I am 60 years old, man. “You can’t be my love all the time… this age has suddenly become (a topic) (people say) who has become God… what do you want to troll… I know who trolls… we don’t react… our fan club is like that… what’s the difference between us… tell them…,” he added.
Furious, Salman took off his shirt and cap, wiped off his makeup on camera and challenged trolls to mock him.
He then showed off his fit body, making it clear he wasn’t bothered by the criticism.
Salman also spoke about the online criticism of his brother Sohail Khan and others. “First look at yourself, look at your body, then do all this… look at your mother and father… then troll… make fun of Sohail, use Varun it’s not done,” he said. Salman added, “Troll as much as you want, even if you wear it…”

Vivek Oberoi is married to Priyanka since 2010. She is the daughter of former Karnataka minister late Jivaraj Alva and famous dancer Nandini. The couple are parents to a daughter and a son – Vivaan Veer and Amiya Nirvana.
Salman and Katrina reportedly started dating in the mid-2000s after working together. Katrina later admitted in an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2011 that Salman was her first serious relationship.
Katrina is married to Vicky Kaushal since 2021. They welcomed their first child, son Vihaan, last November.
